Experience

Niamh is a partner in the Audit and Assurance team having joined Grant Thornton in Bermuda in 2023. She joins from Grant Thornton in Ireland where she started in 1989 and was appointed as an audit partner in 2002. Niamh was previously Global Head of Asset Management for Grant Thornton and a member of the European and Global Financial Services Group.

Sector experience

Niamh has extensive audit experience across insurance and reinsurance, asset management including investment and hedge funds, special purpose vehicles and aviation. She has also provided a range of audit and advisory services to clients including fund administration companies, aircraft leasing vehicles and operating companies. Her clients span Bermuda, Ireland and the UK and utilise a variety of accounting standards.

Qualifications

Fellow of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (CAI)
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
Bachelor of Commerce degree (BComm) from University College Dublin (UCD)
