Experience

Ramona is a director in the Financial Advisory Services team having joined Grant Thornton Bermuda in 2023. Ramona brings 15 years of experience in the insurance industry across Life, P&C and Risk. Ramona has spent the last 5 years in the Bermuda market, gaining a deep working understanding of the Bermuda regulatory framework, in her role as Appointed Actuary for a large Bermuda life insurance company.

Sector experience

Alongside her experience in Bermuda, Ramona has over 10 years of working experience in the UK, Netherlands and Hong Kong. Fulfilling various senior roles, she contributed to the development, monitoring and implementation of ERM frameworks, contributed methodology developments and documentation for components of Solvency II internal models and has lead an international team of actuaries, learning from them.
