Ramona is a Director, Head of Risk in Grant Thornton Bermuda. Ramona brings over 15 years of leadership and industry experience across Risk and Actuarial. Ramona moved to Bermuda in 2017, gaining a deep working understanding of the Bermuda regulatory framework, including in her role as the Appointed Actuary for a large Bermuda life insurance company.
Alongside her experience in Bermuda, Ramona has multi-jurisdictional working experience in the UK, Netherlands and Hong Kong. Fulfilling various senior roles, she contributed to the development, monitoring and implementation of ERM frameworks, contributed methodology developments and documentation for components of Solvency II internal models and has lead an international team of actuaries, learning from them.
